Recipe : Au gratin bookbinders shrimp


Ingredients for Au gratin bookbinders shrimp
2c.Cooked shrimp, chopped
1/4c.Flour
1c.Grated cheddar cheese
1/4c.Breadcrumbs
1/4c.Butter
2c.Light cream

Preparation :

Melt butter, add butter and stir until smooth. Add light cream and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till thickened. Add half of the grated cheese and stir to blend thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in shrimp, place in casserole or individual baking dishes. Cover with remaining grated cheese, mixed with bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake at 400F 20-25 minutes, or until delicately browned.
