Recipe : Beef and sausage quiche


Ingredients for Beef and sausage quiche
1 9 inch pastry shell
1 Large onion finely chopped
6oz.Mild italian sausage, soft casing
1lb.Ground beef
1 Chopped green onion
1c.Grated swiss cheese
1 1/2c.Half and half
1Tbsp.Butter
1 Clove minced garlic
2Tbsp.Finely chopped parsley
4 Eggs

Preparation :

Saute onion in butter until brown. Remove sausage from casing and add with beef to pan. Cook until brown and crumbly. Remove from heat and mix in garlic, green onion,parsley and half the cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set aside. Beat eggs till blended. Stir in half and half. Spread meat into shell and pour egg mix over. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 375F. for 30-35 minutes or until set.
