Recipe : Braised steak and onions


Ingredients for Braised steak and onions
1 1/2lb.Round steak
2Tbsp.Oil
2 Small onions, thinley sliced
1/2c.beef broth

Preparation :

Cut meat into serving size portions. Coat with flour, brown in oil. Remove from shallow baking dish, season with a little salt and pepper. Add onions to skillet, cook slowly, stirring occasionally until onions are tender and well browned. Place onions a top meat. Add broth to skillet and deglaze. Pour over meat and onions.

Cover and bake at 325F. for 1-1 1/4 hours.
