Recipe : Buttery shrimp De Jonghe


Ingredients for Buttery shrimp De Jonghe
2/3c.Butter
2Tbsp.Dried chives
1/2tsp.Garlic powder
1/8tsp.pepper
1pkg.Frozen cocktail size shrimp (20 oz.), thawed and drained
1 1/2c.Crushed thin bacon crackers

Preparation :

Heat oven to 350F. In heavy 2 quart pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add chives, garlic and pepper. Stir to blend. Dip shrimp into melted butter. Roll into crumbs to coat. layer shrimp in 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Add remaining crumbs to remaining butter, stir to blend. Sprinkle shrimp with crumb and butter mixture. Bake near center of the oven for 24-30 minutes. Makes four servings.
