Preparation : Beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla in a small bowl until creamy. Set aside. Beat 3 eggs in a bowl until blended. Add 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla. Blend well. Spread cream cheese mix in bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans, gently pour corn syrup mixture over pecans.
