Recipe : Boston baked beans


Ingredients for Boston baked beans
2cNavy beans
2Tbsp.Brown sugar
2Tsp.Salt
2ozBacon (cut into pieces)
1/2Tsp.Mustard
Baking soda
Water

Preparation :

Start by soaking the beans overnight.

Next, add a little baking soda and slowly bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the sugar, salt and mustard.

Take half the beans and place them in a baking dish. Next, add the bacon. Lastly, add the remainder of the beans and cover slightly with water.

Bake in a 250F degrees oven for six to twelve hours. Make sure the beans stay below boiling temperature and are covered with water
