Preparation : Cut tomatoes in halves, crosswise. Do not peel.
Next, place them (cut surface facing up) on a cookie sheet. Cook in the oven at a low temperature for about 30 minutes. Tomatoes should be soft, but not broken.
Finally, add a bit of butter to each half of tomato and season with salt and pepper. Serve at once.
