Ingredients for Codfish Marinaia
1lb.Salt codfish
1/4Onion (chopped)
Parsley (chopped)
3Tbsp.Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
Allspice
3Tbsp.Vinegar
2Tbsp.Fish broth
1/2Bay leaf
Flour
Fried bread pieces

Preparation :

Boil the fish slightly until you can remove the skin and bones.

Fry onion and parsley a saucepan with olive-oil. Next, add the codfish with salt, pepper, and a pinch of allspice.

While this is cooking, combine the vinegar, broth, and bay leaf in a seperate saucepan. Add a little flour to give body to the sauce. Stir well, then remove the bay-leaf, and take the saucepan off the stove.

Arrange a platter with pieces of fried bread in a layer on the bottom, then the codfish, and pour sauce over it to finish.
