Ingredients for Coleslaw
3cShredded cabbage
1/2Tsp.Salt
1/2Tsp.Mustard
Cayenne
1Tsp.Sugar
1Egg
1/2cMilk
2Tbsp.Butter
1/4cVinegar

Preparation :

Heat the milk in a double boiler.

Now, beat the eggs, add the dry ingredients. Next, add the milk.

Return the mixture to the double boiler and cook as you would cook a custard .

Remove from the hot water. Add the fat and vinegar, and strain over the cabbage at once.

Set aside to cool completely. Serve coleslaw cold.
