Recipe : Cream of lemon sauce


Ingredients for Cream of lemon sauce
1cCold water
1Tbsp.Starch
1Tbsp.Powdered sugar
1cMilk
Salt
Grated lemon rind
2Egg yolks

Preparation :

Pour half the water in a bowl and add the starch. Stir well until starch is fully dissolved.

Add the powdered sugar to the other half of the water and boil for a few moments, until sugar is completely dissolved.

Cool and then add the starch, milk, salt, grated lemon rind and egg yolks.

Mix well, then strain through a sieve.

Cook in a saucepan at moderate heat until it reaches the desired thickness.
