Preparation :

Cut peaches in two and remove the stones. Peel the peaches, and cut them in thin slices.

Put red wine, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and lemon rind in a saucepan. Boil these together, and then pour the liquid over the peaches in the bowl while still boiling.

Cover the bowl, and allow it to stand for at least 2hours. Pour into a dish to serve.
