Recipe : Risotto with ham


Ingredients for Risotto with ham
1oz.Ham (uncooked and chopped)
1/4Small onion (chopped)
2 1/2Tbsp.Butter
1/2c.Rice (uncooked)
Water or bouillon
Salt and pepper
1Dash of nutmeg
2Tbsp.Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation :

Place onion and the ham into a frying-pan with 1/2 Tbsp of butter.

Fry slowly until the ham and onions are golden. Add rice. Once it has cooked for a few minutes, add twice its height of water. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg Mix well and allow it to boil for 20 minutes.

Remove from the stove and add remaining butter and Parmesan cheese. Mix well and serve.
