Preparation : Heat and melt butter on a stove and introduce breadcrumbs, mix well and remove from stove.
Combine remaining ingredients with banana pieces.
Starting by placing one quarter of the breadcrumb mix in a buttered baking dish, next one half of the banana mixture, next one quarter of the breadcrumbs, followed by the remaing banana mixture and finally the remaining breadcrumbs.
Bake 40 to 60 minutes (until bananas are tender and crumbs brown), in a moderate oven, cover during first 20 minutes.
Best served hot with sugar and/or cream.
