Recipe : Stuff acorn squash


Ingredients for Stuff acorn squash
3 Acorn squash
1 Chicken bouillon cube
1/4c.Onion, chopped
1/2c.Herb seasoned stuffing mix, crushed
1 Egg, slighly beaten
1/4c.Boiling water
2Tbsp.Butter
1/2tsp.Salt

Preparation :

Cut squash in half, length-wise. Remove seeds. Place cut side down on baking sheet. Bake at 400F for 30 minutes. Spoon out squash meat and mash. Reserve shells. Disolve bouillon cube in boiling water. Add egg and disolved bouillon cube to squash mixture. Cook onions in butter until tender, but not brown. Add stuffing mix to onions, reserve 1/4 stuffing mixture. Add onion and stuffing mixture to squash. Season with salt and a dash of pepper. Spoon mixture into squash shells. Top with reserved stuffing mixture. Bake at 400F for 10-15 minutes.
