Recipe : Sweet and sour oriental pork


Ingredients for Sweet and sour oriental pork
3lb.Boneless pork, cut into cubes
2Tbsp.Oil
1/2c.Thinly sliced onions
4Tbsp.Brown sugar
2Tbsp.Soy sauce
1c.Pineapple chunks, drained
2Tbsp.Flour
2 Can mushroom gravy (10 1/2 oz. each)
4Tbsp.Vinegar
1 Green pepper, diced

Preparation :

Trim any fat from pork. Season with salt and pepper. Dust with flour and brown well in very hot oil. Add gravy, onions, sugar, vinegar and soy sauce. Stir to blend, cover and cook on very low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add green pepper and pineapple, continue simmering 15-25 minutes, or until meat is very tender. Serve over rice or oriental noodles.
